Amy Stenberg (acoustic bass, vocals) was a member of the Kathy Kallick Band from 1996-2006, recording two albums (Walkin’ In My Shoes and Warmer Kind Of Blue) and touring widely with them. Her singing is not only spot-on and soulful but also has a sweetness that combines beautifully with Kathy’s voice. In the late 1970s, Amy founded Heartland, whose members also included Jim Nunally, Alison Brown, Tony Furtado, Rob Ickes, Debbie Cotter, John Blasquez, and Tomas Enguidenos; they never recorded, but were mainstays at the Red Vest Pizza Parlor. Amy is now a regular participant at the Taco Jam and in other informal collaborations.

Avram Siegel (banjo, lead guitar, vocals) was a member of the Kathy Kallick Band from 1996-2006, recording two albums (Walkin’ In My Shoes and Warmer Kind Of Blue) and touring widely with them. He is regarded as among the most original banjo players of his generation; his bluesy, syncopated rhythm is always fresh and exciting without forsaking the traditional Scruggs style, and he shows remarkable restraint and taste. Avram has performed in a wide variety of bands, from Grant Street to Vern Williams to True Blue, his collaboration with Delbert Williams, Ed Neff, and the late Allison Fisher. He now has a monthly performance at Diesel Books, and is one of the most active teachers in the Bay Area. http://www.truebluegrass.com/Avram.html

Brian Wicklund (fiddle, vocals) was a member of the Kathy Kallick Band from 2004-2006, recording Warmer Kind Of Blue with them. He first came to bluegrass prominence with Stoney Lonesome, and has also played in the Judith Edelman Band, Brother Mule, and, currently, The Barley Jacks. In additional to an active schedule of teaching, Brian has written several instructional books, produced instructional DVDs, and is a co-founder of an online bluegrass instructional program. http://www.fiddlepal.com

Dan Booth (acoustic bass, vocals) was a member of the Kathy Kallick Band from 2008-2012, recording two albums (Between the Hollow & the High-Rise and Time) and touring widely with them. He also played with Ginger Boatwright (AK), Bearfoot (AK), Spring Creek (CO), Homespun Rowdy (SF), and 2009 RockyGrass band winners, 49 Special (SF). He was a member of Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen from 2012-2015, and is now freelancing and repairing/restoring acoustic basses. http://bassmandan.com

Laurie Lewis (fiddle, guitar, vocals) co-founded the Good Ol’ Persons with Kathy, and their collaboration is ongoing, most recently with a tribute to their mentors, Vern Williams and Ray Park. Occasionally guesting with the KKB, Laurie has led her own bands for nearly 40 years, recorded many albums, and is regarded as one of the top musicians in contemporary acoustic music. http://www.laurielewis.com

Martino Coppo (mandolin, vocals) played in the Kathy Kallick Band for an extensive European tour in 2011. Based in Genoa, Italy, he’s a longtime member of Europe’s premier bluegrass band, Red Wine, and board member of the European Bluegrass Music Association. His duet with Kathy on “I’m Blue, I’m Lonesome” is the stuff of legend. http://redwinemusic.altervista.org/eng/indexe.html

Paul Shelasky (fiddle) often sits in with the KKB to play exceptional twin fiddles with Annie. He was long a member of both the Good Ol’ Persons and Lost Highway, and currently performs with Blue & Lonesome and The David Thom Band. He released a solo album, Fiddle-Crazy, in 1999, and a collaboration with fellow swing fiddler, Paul Anastasio, Two Pauls, No Waiting, in 2006.

Sharon Gilchrist (acoustic bass, mandolin, vocals) played in the Kathy Kallick Band in 2012. Well-known for her participation in Uncle Earl, the Peter Rowan & Tony Rice Quartet, and Darol Anger & the Furies, she’s also performed with Mary & Mars, Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands, Mike Marshall’s Ger Mandolin Orchestra, and, currently, a trio with two of Kathy’s associates, John Reischman and Scott Nygaard. http://www.sharongilchristmusic.com

Cliff Perry and Laurel Bliss began as a singing duo more than 30 years ago, and are now recognized as the most important contemporary interpreters of the songs of the Carter Family. Together they formed the heart of Southfork, a legendary Northwest bluegrass band, and they’ve often taught with members of the KKB at music camps in the Northwest. In January, 2020, they teamed up with the band for two all-gospel shows, and everyone’s hoping for future collaborations.

John Reischman played mandolin, sang, and wrote songs (with Kathy) and tunes in the Good Ol’ Persons and offshoot bands for two decades. He’s been leading his own band, The Jaybirds, and remains one of the premier mandolinists of his generation. John sits in or subs with the KKB when possible, and still co-writes with Kathy; “This Beautiful World” is their latest collaboration.  http://www.johnreischman.com/
