Together
(ROUNDER 0318)
This bluegrass reunion of the Good Ol' Persons' co-founders was originally released in 1991 and reissued in 1995. A virtual symposium of Bay Area mandolinists (Tom Bekeny, John Reischman, Tom Rozum, and Butch Waller), it contains three of Kathy's songs ("Count Your Blessings," "Don't Leave Your Little Girl All Alone," and "Just Like Rain") and a
number of classics from the Delmore Brothers, Carter Family, and others.
"Lewis' sweet and silky soprano blends with Kallick's sultry, spicy mezzo-soprano for a honey-mustard combination that is simultaneously accessible and exotic." - Acoustic Guitar
"If Thelma and Louise ever made a record, it would be this one! Some of the finest singing and playing to grace the genre." - Folk Roots
