I Can't Stand To Ramble
(FLAT ROCK 102)
The first of three 1980s albums featuring the most enduring version of
the Good Ol' Persons: Kathy, John Reischman, Sally Van Meter, Paul
Shelasky, and Bethany Raine. The album contains six of Kathy's
compositions, including "Broken Tie" (Bill Monroe's favorite Kathy
song), "Open Up Your Heart," and the infectious title track.

"A rare and beautiful balance of terrific singing, superb playing, and
good taste."
- Option
"Kathy is a controlled, confident and expressive singer, and her songs
are likeable modern twists on the usual themes --- love, relationships,
family, deception, and rambling."
